On behalf of myself and the school’s Governing Body , I hope that you have enjoyed reading the Ofsted Inspector’s Report from their visit on Tuesday 17th January 2017. We are pleased that our school is still regarded as ‘GOOD’ at a time when nationally one in four ‘Good’ schools are moving to ‘Requiring Improvement’ status following an inspection.
This means that, at Dunn Street, we are continuing to provide an education of good quality for yourselves and your children.
I liked, that the school in the report sounded like Dunn Street and clearly wasn’t a generalised account of a good school. I am also delighted that the staff were praised highly for the work that they do on behalf of your children.
We acknowledge that there are things for us to attend to, in order to make our provision even better for your children, and you can rest assured that we will be giving these things our fullest attention over the coming months.
Our next inspection is likely to take place in three or four years time.
Thank you for the positive comments that you gave to inspectors either by conversation in the yard or for those that went online via Parentmail. Your continued support for what we do here is gratefully received.
